Willowbrook is a new housing development representing a vision for a genuinely sustainable neighbourhood and a landmark gateway to Cheltenham. Spearheaded by Bloor Homes, this mixed-use project north of Tewkesbury Road represents a £1 billion investment in the region, set to deliver essential housing and employment opportunities over the next decade.
To support this undertaking, we were tasked with building a digital presence that reflects the project's scale and commitment to the community, while enabling stakeholders to participate through a digital consultation form.
THE PROJECT
The project began with a clear blueprint from the client, who provided a base layout and aesthetic that captured the "green and thriving" overview of the development. Our role was to bridge the gap between that vision and a high-performance, fully functional website.
By working closely with the client and auditing the initial designs, we suggested additional features to enhance the user experience. This collaborative process ensured the site evolved from a simple digital brochure into a valuable tool for future residents.
THE BUILD
As with many of our projects, we leveraged WordPress to ensure long-term flexibility and intuitive content management, enabling the team to post project and news updates with ease.
By using the page builder, Elementor Pro, we translated the client’s custom designs into a pixel-perfect, responsive website. To manage the high volume of public outreach required for this project, we integrated Gravity Forms to build a custom multi-step consultation form. Rather than overwhelming users with a single long page of questions, this streamlined approach allowed:
- Increased Completion Rates: By breaking the data collection into logical, bite-sized stages.
- Segmented Data: Allowed the client to gather specific feedback on different aspects of the development, from housing, infrastructure, and sustainability.
- Overall User-Friendly Experience: Provided a modern, interactive way for the nearby Cheltenham and Tewkesbury communities to have their voices heard.
THE RESULT
The Willowbrook website serves as a professional, accessible hub for one of the region’s most significant growth projects. By combining the client's design vision with our technical expertise, we delivered a platform that is as sustainable and forward-thinking as the neighbourhood itself.
