Testimonial

"Integrated Ideas produced a completely new design for the site. Bright and fresh and reflecting some of Butley’s many attributes. They listened to the functions that we wanted the site to have and built the necessary technical stuff.

Visitors to the site can now book the hall and camper van pitches directly and are directed to pay their fee online, with automatic notification sent to our bookings secretary. And we can update text quickly ourselves as necessary.

We can’t recommend Integrated Ideas highly enough and would suggest you approach them to discuss your project.

Butley Village Hall

The village hall in Butley, Suffolk, needed a refresh to its website to help promote themselves to the local community along with those further afield that are looking to book and stay on one of their camping or motorhome pitches.

The village hall is closely situated to many of the beautiful areas on the Suffolk coast, so is popular for those who want to stay and visit the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is used for weddings, gatherings, parties, table tennis and yoga, along with anything else where the hall would be suitable, they are quite open to supporting your needs. A new outdoor children’s play area has been added recently which has been very popular with those coming to the hall and it also proudly boasts having full disabled access and facilities.

As a web design agency, we love helping small businesses and local community projects with their web presence and anything else related to their marketing and advertising needs. In this instance, we wanted to give the hall a bit of a lift with a visual identity and marque which could be used going forward as part of instant recognition to the hall. We created a simple, modern take of the well-renown village sign standing in the heart of the community which will work across all mediums.

With many volunteering to keep the hall running, one of the key requirements was that the site would need to be easy to maintain by the team when it came to adding new content. Using WordPress along with Stackable, we created a clean, simple site with a clear user journey, along with several call to actions that allowed visitors to either book the hall or book a pitch either with or without electrical hook up. When we discussed the ability for bookings, one of the things that came up was the fact that they wanted a direct, straightforward process. Originally, when someone booked, they had to call the secretary to process both the booking and the payment (by cash or cheque would you believe) and this was very manual and time-consuming, so we added the option of Stripe as a payment gateway when it came to using the online booking calendar. The booking information would be logged in WordPress itself along with an email sent to both the secretary and the user to confirm their booking. Now it should all be plain sailing.

Whilst we predominantly offer a bespoke service when it comes to creating your website, we are also aware that at times you just need something clean and simple and a little more "off the shelf". Whatever route is taken, the same care and attention is always given so the clients are proud of their online presence and their requirements are achieved.
