A little bit about me…
For the past 3 years, I have thoroughly enjoyed working within the design and marketing industry. My most recent role was concentrating on one particular eCommerce site for a local but international company, however, I really wanted to get my teeth into something that was more across the board and was able to utilise all of my skills.
Starting a new career with Integrated Ideas
I was offered a position by Julia, the Director of Integrated Ideas as a Project Manager. Whilst this is my main role, I feel very lucky to be able to also assist in the growth and development of the business and to also utilise my skills as a designer, having successfully passed a degree in Design and Innovation with the Open University. Having wanted to get a foot in the door working in a commercial / agency environment for some time, I naturally jumped at the chance.
I was very impressed by the rich and diverse clients that Integrated Ideas had under their belt, such as international luxury hotel brands and London retails, as well as their keenness to help and support local smaller firms with their wealth of knowledge and experience.
Having been at Integrated Ideas for a little while now, it’s great how we all work as a team and there is a super “can do” attitude and enthusiasm towards the work that we do. Everyone is friendly and approachable, and from the onset, it’s clear to see that every client is given a personal approach with real attention to detail.
It has been great to be able to share my various skills, not to mention develop myself in various areas of Project Management along with the business environment, and working closely with some of our great clients to exceed their expectations.
Outside of work
Outside of work I am a keen photographer with an eye for the Suffolk and surrounding coastline, exhibiting work in local cafes and galleries, along with occasionally having work featured online and in print via local publications. I also keep a focus on design by working through various online challenges and tutorials.
Closing words
I guess I should just end this with the fact that we are all foodies here in the office, myself being the most talkative about it at the moment. There’s not a day that goes by where we are not swapping recipes or discussing our night before dinner escapades.
