Swiss Farm Butchers
Swiss Farm, established in 1974, is a small family butchers located in Ashbocking, near Ipswich. They pride themselves on fresh, locally sourced produce at competitive prices. Looking to raise their turnover and footfall through the shop, Swiss Farm was eager to increase brand awareness. They contacted Integrated Ideas to give them a helping hand. Having previously worked together, we have a strong relationship with Swiss Farm and understand how best to spread their message.
We sought to run an integrated marketing campaign, so we could spread awareness through a number of media channels. To begin with, we put together an initial (and their first ever) web presence. This new website would provide a brief background of Swiss Farm and include an interactive map detailing their location. Customers were also invited to get in touch directly with the team via email and sign up to forthcoming newsletters and offers.
In order to promote the website and the fabulous offers available, social media accounts were set up, which we continue to manage on their behalf. Just a month after launching, their Facebook page saw over 100 page likes and eight five-star reviews. These figures are still growing daily, along with their Twitter following.
To coincide with this online presence, Swiss Farm looked to use newspaper advertisements to help promote their business ‘offline’. Integrated Ideas designed an initial advert template, one that could be used for a wide variety of promotions.
We currently have a schedule in place for weekly adverts to go out in the most popular local newspapers and glossy magazines. This is in keeping with Swiss Farm’s tagline ‘always fresh, always local’ and our original brief: to increase brand identity. For each advert, Integrated Ideas provide full photography services. Swiss Farm offer a wide variety of meats in a number of cuts and flavours, so we can always use the best, most attractive shots for their campaigns.
Since the integrated marketing campaign began, daily visits to the website have seen a substantial increase. When the website was initially established, it was averaging one or two visitors a day. Following the launch of their social media accounts and the regular advertisements, the site can experience more than fifty visitors per day. As we work on expanding the website and issuing further advertisements, we expect this number to rise even further.
To coincide with all of the above work, Integrated Ideas have also been commissioned to update the look and feel within the shop itself – designs for this are currently taking place.
